A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our Schenectady-based teams arrive with truck-mount extractors, moisture meters, and drying gear staged and ready to go.
Hirex Water Damage started because homeowners in Schenectady, NY kept telling us the same story: a national hotline picked up, put them on hold, and then subcontracted the job out to whoever was cheapest and closest. Every technician on our Schenectady roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Each lead tech holds an IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification and has personally handled clean-water, gray-water, and contaminated black-water losses, so Water Removal in Schenectady isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We're fully insured and licensed to work anywhere in Schenectady, NY, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
Because our equipment lives in a Schenectady, NY warehouse rather than out of state, we're not waiting on a supply run before we can start extraction.
Talk to a Schenectady property manager who's lived through an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you exactly why a crew that arrives already equipped matters — every extra minute is more water in the framing. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Schenectady call at a time.
The most expensive Schenectady restoration jobs we run almost never started as a dramatic flood; they started as something small that got put off. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Schenectady line and we'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day emergency or something we can schedule.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Schenectady crews scale the response to match the loss — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Truck-mounted extraction equipment on every Schenectady rig pulls high volumes of standing water fast, so drying starts the same day instead of the next. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Our drying plans use moisture meters and thermal imaging to target air movers exactly where hidden moisture is trapped, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
For families in Schenectady, this covers flood-cut drywall removal, subfloor evaluation, and packing out salvageable belongings for cleaning, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
Schenectady businesses and property managers get a dedicated project lead, after-hours crews, and equipment scaled to square footage rather than a single-crew response — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination — our Schenectady crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
We apply antimicrobial treatment during every Schenectady drying job specifically to head off mold before it starts, and we'll flag any area that needs deeper remediation.
Every Schenectady estimate is written and explained before work begins — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.

A licensed technician heads to your Schenectady address with extraction and drying equipment already loaded.
We remove standing water first, then map moisture and position air movers and dehumidifiers based on the readings.
We re-check moisture levels daily until materials hit dry standard, then hand you full documentation for your records or your insurer.
Our Schenectady technicians use moisture meters at the start and the end of every job, and the final number has to hit the dry standard before we leave. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put that guarantee directly on the Schenectady work order, not just in an ad. If a second visit is ever needed, it comes from the same crew that handled the original job whenever scheduling allows, since they already know the property and the readings we started from.
